Accreditation

Mackintosh Academy is accredited by the prestigious International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO).  This authorization requires extensive staff training and on-going evaluation by an international team.  The IBO accreditation allows our faculty to have access to a worldwide network of professionals from IB schools to discuss and share curriculum needs and strategies, as well as be accountable to the goals and philosophies of the IB program.

NCAMackintosh Academy is also accredited by the North Central Association (NCA).  The North Central Association Accreditation is a highly respected, regional accreditation which provides quality standards and school improvement models for more than 9,600 schools.

Operating Funds

Mackintosh Academy does not rely on charitable gifts for operating expenses.  The school is managed so tuition fees alone meet our budgetary requirements.  Charitable gifts are always welcome for special purchases or to assist with the Academy's financial aid program.  The Academy is a tax-exempt Section 501(c)(3) organization.

Religious Affiliation

Mackintosh Academy does not have a religious affiliation.  We have students from a wide variety of religious faiths.  We want all our children to feel comfortable with their faiths and be proud of their family's values, and have respect and understanding for the values of others.
