A big thank you to all the parents and students who made the Night of the Museum such a success! The students’ projects from Ancient Mesopotamia, Egypt and China reflected many Learner Profiles: Communicators, Open Minded, Risk Takers, Thinkers, Knowledgeable and Inquirers. The projects were unique to each student and represented committed sustained effort, strong research and creative thinking. What a delight! We are so proud of their effort and focus on these projects.

Additionally, the actual Night of the Museum was magical for our students. Beautiful artwork filled the rooms – colorful paper dragons, Egyptian masks, dragon watercolors, poetry, calligraphy, maps, artifacts, and handmade paper. Delicious aromas enticed even some of our reluctant eaters.

Most importantly the night was imbued with celebratory energy and excitement befitting the efforts of each student, the support given by each parent, and the vision of the 2/3 teaching team. This highlights the synergy within our group, creating greater than any one person within the group could fashion on his or her own. How magnificent!

Here are some photos from the celebration.
