  • Colorado’s first school for gifted students, Mackintosh Academy was founded in 1977 in Denver by Eve Mackintosh
  • Moved to Littleton in the late 1980’s, currently serves students living across the south metro Denver area
  • Achieved International Baccalaureate authorization in 2006, further enriching our program
  • Accredited by the Association for Colorado Independent Schools
  • 105 students in pre-K through eighth grade on a campus nestled into a quiet neighborhood

  • Colorado Garden Foundation Grant 2017 to install hydroponic system in greenhouse
  • President’s Environmental Youth Award 2016 – the nation’s highest environmental honor for students
  • State Farm Youth Advisory Grant in 2014 to install solar panels, making Mack the first school in Littleton to get a majority of its power from solar
